Sad as it is, I've decided to make my journal friends only in order to better protect my intellectual property. I made a bunch of banners and couldn't bear to just choose one, so one gets the dubious honor of being outside the cut. The rest are underneath.

Aww, thank you! I'm usually a staunch defender of authorial intent, but Rusty's just too damn obnoxious. Maybe he's deliberately winding up the fandom, or maybe he's just not phrasing things quite right and being misinterpreted--though you'd think someone who writes for a living (and often makes comments about how tricky a job it is, and how you have to choose your words carefully) would, you know, choose their words carefully. Regardless, I can't wait till he hands over the reins to someone else.

As for the stories, I think most of what got taken down from the Pit is now over at platy_fics. You might have to do a bit of scrolling and clicking, but it should all be there.

X-Files, all the way! I *loved* that show, before we couldn't watch it anymore, then it was completely focused on alien conspiracy...but I did love it in the beginning.

I don't know if you've ever heard of the web comic Sluggy Freelance, but there's an awesome parody of the X-Files there.

Plus, there are some really funny Harry Potter parodies, which can be found easily under new veiwer's guide, if you're interested.

I am in the process of making an X-Files mood theme! It's something I've been working on for years, on and off. I'm just hoping it doesn't wind up too Scully-heavy, what with Gillian Anderson actually making facial expressions and Duchovny... not so much. :P
