While riding the light rail halfway home, I espied a crumbling, white brick wall between two weedy little lots. Spray-painted on both sides of the wall, bold and red, were the words, BAD WOLF.

Whoever did it is, I think, a Wholigan in the truest sense of the word.

Now you have to watch out for Daleks.

A friend of mine who is a journalist working for a gearhead magazine was contemplating the benefits of Dalek transport (the sentence 'what would be the air speed velocity of an unladen Dalek?' did come up).

Would it be an African or European Dalek?

Africa and Europe are countries to Daleks. *Earth* is a country to Daleks... possibly.

Clearly more research is needed to chart the migratory patterns of Daleks before we can speculate further.

That is quite awesome. I think you should try to look out for it again and take a picture :)

Around my undergrad campus, you could write chalk advertisements for anything on the sidewalks as long as you put your initials on them.

Long story short, a few bored Science Fiction and Fantasy Society members went out with the chalk and an intention to Bad Wolfify the campus, and it culminated in the following e-mail conversation with a professor.:

smb:
You know someone whose initials are RT. Yes? Who is it? Do I know this person?

me:
Rose Tyler.

smb:
Um, is that legal?

me:
Probably not, but most of them are unlabeled. And it wasn't me. I was actually just as confused until it was explained by the person who did it.

smb:
What I love about this exchange is that neither of us has used a single word that mentions the actual subject of our emails.

Long pointless comment is long!

This same professor dropped the line "Ah, but this is not for mere humans to comprehend!" in a january-term class entirely on the hope that I would respond with "But sarah marie, aren't you human?"

She wanted to be able to answer with "Well, have you counted my hearts lately?"

Sadly, this did not happen.

Wholiganism? I feel there needs to be more of this.

Person who wrote that receives many internets. :)
