In which I am a huge, HUGE dork.

I just bought two DVD versions of Britten's "Turn of the Screw" on amazon. I figure it's justifiable because the chances of me ever actually getting to see it in person are about nil, unless i go to Germany. They seem awfully fond of the opera over there. But I've also seen the words "eurotrashing" and "Germany productions" in close proximity to one another in various online reviews, so I don't know if I'd even enjoy it.
And the local opera company did TOTS back in 1999, when I didn't care. So they probably won't be doing it again anytime soon.
Raaaaa.
But. Two highly-rated DVDs on the way. Huzzah!
In other news, I officially have more music than I have time to listen to. I think as soon as the fam goes off to church, I'll pop in something I haven't listened to, yet. Maybe some Ralph Vaughan Williams.
