[Poll #764904]

So, there's that. I also have a meme from [livejournal.com profile] cynl:

Pick six fandoms and answer the following questions. Don't look at the questions first.

1. Lost
2. The X-Files
3. Harry Potter
4. LOTR
5. POTC
6. Chronicles of Narnia

1. Who is your favorite character from #2? (The X-Files)
BYERS!!

2. Who is your least favorite character from #4? (LOTR)
Orc #12. That scene-stealing hack.

3. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Lost/POTC)
HAHAHAHAHA! Well, on their journey to the ends of the earth, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, and the rest find themselves on the LOST island! Liz and Kate probably become best friends because they're both pushy and manipulative, and Barbossa shoots Jack.

4. Who is your favorite ship from #6? (Chronicles of Narnia)
Well... seeing as there are precious few canon ships out there... hm. I dunno.

5. If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (HP/CoN)
I'd probably set up Ron and Susan, since he likes 'em bossy.

6. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (LOTR)
Pippin and I would RAISE HELL.

7. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change? (X-Files)
How about having Mulder not leave for a season?

8. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from #5, and why you like the relationship between them. (POTC)
Barbossa and his monkey: BFF!

9. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Lost/Harry Potter)
No way in HELL would I lift a finger to save St. Jack. I think this is a situation where I'd be of no use: Harry is a wizard and could just apparate himself somewhere else. And if Jack were drowning, the WATERS WOULD PART and he'd just stroll on back to the beach.

10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose? (LOTR)
Um... hmm. I think the order's okay as is.

11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like and what would their role be? (CoN)
My canon-loving friends will kill me if I answer this question.

12. What happens in your favourite episode of show #2? (X-Files)
BAD BLOOD. That is my favorite episode. No further explanations necessary.

13. If you could kill off one of the characters of #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (Lost)
Jack. SLOWLY. Either that, or I'd have Kate die of some jungle disease like malaria and have Jack utterly fail to fix or cure her. But then that would be another woman down, so I think I'll just kill Jack.

14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (HP/POTC)
Awww, this is HARD! I suppose... nyyyeeehhh... I can't decide between Depp and Davenport, or Every Other British Actor Ever. >_< I guess I'd have to say... POTC. Because they have a monkey.

15. So, I saved the best question for last. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
Oh, Jebus, I don't want to date any of them! So I'll rephrase the question: If I could have anyone from any of these fandoms show up on my doorstep, wet and bedraggled and in desperate need of my help, who would it be? Norrington. There.

ETA: Oh, for pete's sake, people... STANLEY TUCCI! That guy! :P

That, I can live with, if they can't be re-enlarged. I'm possessive that way. XP

hey, I have ALWAYS wanted him. I haven't even SEEN Dean Man's Chest yet and I've wanted him since way back when everyone hated him, that should count for something. (can't we share?)

I'm a little disturbed that he's apparently becoming everyone's favorite character now. I mean...no one liked him before! no one but really crazy people! like me! I don't feel special anymore. :(

and I suppose I can't blame them for that, but it's a little disturbing to have my little strange underdog corner of fandom become something like mainstream. Then again, if this new popularity means Jack Davenport gets more movie roles, I suppose I can deal with everybody who's just now jumping on the bandwagon. le sigh.

Aww, lookit all the Norrington fans! I feel more in company, now.

I got to see it today!!!! Already plotting my own sequel (it's going to be a slippery job. Whatever the faults of thise one, it was much more complex than the last, so it's harder to see a clear path to follow. But at least now I'll be able to grant Ginny one favour she's been begging for . . .)

I also did the meme . . . I had to really scrape the barrel for fandoms, but I managed. Barely.

I liked it. I laughed at most of the cheesy moments (the giant hamster wheel forced me to explain to my roommate why it's so important for the wheel one purchases to be closed in so the hammie's feet don't get caught) and I took a very long time to not mind the mussels and oozing barnacles on Bill Turner's face and neck. Eughh.

I noticed Keira Knightley has put on a nice bit of flesh; I suppose she wanted to have breasts for the role? It makes her look softer, at any rate, and I really liked the little moment with her and Norrington. But I don't like the idea that he'd sacrifice his honour to reclaim his reputation; I'm going to have a long talk with him about that, you mark my words. Perhaps he has a Brilliant Plan waiting to be hatched; it would certainly tickle me pink to see him get the best of Tom Hollander. Heee!

*runs off to tickle the plot bunnies*

Oh, and how goes the hunt for a script? I'm searching too, with no luck so far. But later tonight, I may not need it so urgently anyway . . .

Yeah, I only have 50 percent of those requirements. I would be happy to find somebody else with the other 50 percent, though . . .

Actually, I know they sometimes leak shooting scripts after the fact. The script I used to write Part of the Show was a draft shooting script (it said so right off, but I wasn't sure if I believed them or not. I only found out it was a genuine draft when the DVD came out, though, and one scene in the script that wasn't in the movie was included in the outtakes).

Hehe, I have a friend whose hipbones are the only thing holding up her pants :P My sister, too, is really tiny (when she was younger it was more like 'bony') so I think I've got an inborn urge to see people around me fill out! And trust me, don't knock the 'A' cup; I haven't seen it for ten years now, but I still miss it muchly. It's the least painful cup there is.

I completely trust Norrington can be redeemed. Even if it means me finding Ragetti's upside-down Bible and bashing him repeatedly over the head with it until he agrees he might have done better than returning to snivelly little Beckett. Then, when he agrees, I will hug him. And maybe marry him for good measure (cause him, being an Admiral or whoever in the next movie, he has that authority. Just like Jack).
