Everyone knows Freud as the Father of Modern Psychology. This is what I know, after having read his work and spoken with other people in my class:
1.) He was on crack--literally. He took cocaine for "medicinal purposes."
2.) He wasn't all that intelligent. He pretty much snuck into med school.
3.) The only two contributions he made to modern psychology are these: the concept of the id, ego, and superego, and the hoity-toity psychobabble language. He sounded like a modern psychologist.
But he's full of shit.
I'm disappointed.
