I hereby dub this the POST-FINALE CASTLE FREAK-OUT POST. I can't be the only one with overwhelming feelings.

In fact, I KNOW I'm not the only one, because my two accounting cohorts who watch the show and I started our day with a wide-eyed gush-fest.

Like, can we talk about how Ryan is the HERO OF THE HOUR and deserving of all the hugs?

And how adorable Alexis is with her heartfelt speech and little podium wave?

And the LIGHTNING? Which was actually thisclose to being too much but fortunately I was distracted by the epic piano and didn't care?

I kind of suspect there is something else going on with Espo, though I have no idea what it is. Maybe this is just Me Not Getting It, but the ambush was such a disaster (and so nearly a tragedy) that Espo's anger towards Ryan seems overblown. It's not like everything would have been fine if Ryan hadn't tattled.

I think it especially irks me because Ryan was so apologetic about it when frankly, he shouldn't have to apologize for SAVING BECKETT'S LIFE and being the voice of reason when everyone else around him decided to go all vigilante.

lol this ep was full of drama (and of course, castle and beckett finally getting together!) but i <3 the zombies ep more, actually. it made me laugh SO HARD and was so original and had romantic explanations in subtle language. yayness.

also, i did a double-take when espo called ryan "kevin". i don't know that i'd ever heard his first name before (or at least, it hadn't really computed). "kevin ryan" is kind of an awful name... no wonder he goes by ryan. :P

but you KNOW kate's going to be back on the force immediately next season. i'm curious how they're going to work that.

The zombie episode WAS pretty amazing. XD

Or heck, Kate might be on the run next season. Helo wants to kill her!

I found the showdown scene between him and Kate to be crazy distressing because I can't help seeing him as Helo. XD "DON'T FIGHT BBS I LOVE YOU BOTH!"

Ryan is so far beyond adorable that I sometimes can't even stand it. The end of this episode? One of those times. I hereby volunteer to provide as many of those hugs as humanly possible.
