First, the news:

-I am 95% sure that Target fucked up, not me. Either way, I'm pissed off.

-Mongolian barbecue was surprisingly delicious and agreeable.

-I got carded upon entering the Mall of America by a security guard who wasn't entirely sure that I was at or over the age of sixteen. If the minimum age was eighteen, I'd be chuffed, but sixteen?! That's overkill. It means he thought I might have been fifteen, which is off by nearly a decade. WTF.

-Pan's Labyrinth is so much better when you aren't sitting in front of the lower left corner of the screen.

-The Doctor should just get a dalek companion. There's gotta be a nice one out there, somewhere. The Littlest Dalek. How cute would that be? Pretty damn cute!

Culinary:	Any carbonated and caffeinated beverage	I know it's bad for me. I know I shouldn't be drinking it on a daily basis. But it's just so damn convenient.
Literary:	paperbacks I bought when I was twelve	You know, YA novels by Gary Paulson and Paul Zindel and the like. Sometimes I just want to read something easy and fun that doesn't beg to be analyzed.
Audiovisual:	X-Files reruns	Oh, who am I kidding? I don't even feel remotely guilty about this one. X-FILES RULES!
Musical:	the "Josie and the Pussycats" movie soundtrack	You can sneer all you want; "Backdoor Lover" will STILL be the greatest boy-band song ever.
Celebrity:	William Mapother	SHUT UP HE'S ADORABLE.
